The Mission of The 1:27 Call is to equip Christ-followers to respond to the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children around the world.
We are a public non-profit organization based in Murfreesboro, TN.
We believe that all Christians have been adopted into God's family.
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself
through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. Ephesians 1:5 NLT
We know that Scripture is clear as to our role as Christ-followers in regards to caring for the orphaned, fatherless, and vulnerable children of this world. This care for the orphan can be done in multiple ways...
adopting, sponsoring an orphan, foster care, short-term mission trip to visit an orphan, financially assisting a family with their adoption.
Our goal is to genuinely care for the orphan and to bring like-minded people and churches together in the call that God has called us all to.

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling (Psalm 68:5)
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief;
you consider it to take it in hand.
The victim commits himself to you;
you are the helper of the fatherless. (Psalm 10:14)
Because I delivered the poor who cried for help,
And the orphan
who had no helper. (Job 29:12)
You shall not afflict any widow or orphan. If you afflict him at all, and if he does cry out to
ME, I will surely hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the
sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless. (Exodus 22:22-24)
